The reward is consistently cleaner data exchange, fewer duplicate records, and higher data completeness. Having formal governance structures is the biggest differentiator.
• National exchange frameworks are widely adopted, but need to be operationalized – TEFCA, FHIR, and other technical foundations have helped build a pathway for scalable data sharing, but as most providers put these frameworks in place, they are now chasing full two-way integration.
